Hello friends,

Happy Mathematics day to everyone.

One special question to you on this great day, why 1729 is special number?

think before you read below.....

If you get the answer then congratulations you are proved to be a mathematician.

But if you didn't get then don't worry this article is only for you.

The number 1729 is also known as Hardy-Ramanujan's number.

Why is called Hardy-Ramanujan's number?

One day, Sir srinivasa Ramanujan going to hospital regarding some health issue. The famous English mathematician G.H.Hardy saw his taxi when he was going to hospital and then he went to hospital to meet Ramanujan and ask him that your taxi number is so dull one so why you put that, then Ramanujan said it is very interesting number,  it is the smallest number expressible as the sum of two cubes in two different ways.

Then immediately hardy replied, “Every positive integer was one of [Ramanujan's] personal friends”

The number is defined in two different ways:

1729 = 13+123 = 93+103

This number is obtained by sum of cube of 2 different numbers that is 1,12 and 9,10.

On that time this number is called as Hardy-Ramanujan's number. After somedays it is commonly known as "Taxicab numbers".
